Music Monday: "Freedom" by Wynonna Judd

If you grew up a 90's/2000's kid in the church then you probably are well aware of the Prince of Egypt animated movie that is still a hit classic today. Matter of fact, I have 3 copies of the movie sitting on my shelf right now and one is a VHS.

The soundtrack that went with it was almost just as big of hit with artists like Hans Zimmer, Wynonna Judd, Amy Grant, Jojo, Boys II Men... you read that right... you can read it again if you like. It was a hit.

My mom kept the album in her car for several years, it still might be there honestly. Her absolute favorite is (to this day) "Freedom" by Wynonna Judd. I still remember getting in the car on a freezing cold morning and she would turn this song on before school.

It makes me smile to think about it.

She would sing the song while we drove to work or school (depending on the time of year). I love her and to this day I still cry watching this movie and hearing/singing these songs because they are powerful and special no matter the age. I hope this movie and soundtrack brings you as much joy as it does me, if you haven't seen it or if you have it's definitely worth watching or watching again.
