Music Monday: "See a Victory" by, Elevation Worship

This year just simply feels like a New Year and honestly I'm just so excited for something fresh, really, I want to see change made in my life and those around me. I am faithfully approaching this year.
There has been SO MUCH sadness, hardship, and pain in the world and it just seems amplified recently.
We have allowed darkness to prevail in areas of our lives whether intentionally or not that has been pushing us to the point of anxiety, fear, and hopelessness. This year, I plan to approach it with my hands raised through any storm including my own bad decisions or the impacts from those around me.. I'm just going to do my best and not let the devil tell me how messed up or inadequate I am or that of others.
We are called to higher heights.
John 14:12 (ESV)
"Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father."
It's time that I/we start implementing some control on our thoughts and actions, on how we spend our time and energy. Focused on new habits and implementations that allow for fun, but drive us to be better. Purpose over pleasure, even better as my aunt puts it, snuggle [with Jesus] don't struggle.
Some of the most amazing giants in this life are the quiet ones we rarely [if ever] see. The humble ones that are giving God's love out of His strength.
I want to be more like that.
Galatians 6:9 (ESV)
"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."
This week's song is a power song over 2024. It's for the lost and hopeless or even those just feeling a bit that way. This year we are going to see miracles. We are going to see a victory. I pray it honestly and truly in Jesus's name.
Don't box God in, be with Him and ask Him for all you need. More than that remember that you are here for Him, not Him here for you. Give it to God and then God has you!
