Man, I have been truly enjoying the Fast and Furious series of movies. Honestly, never thought it would be something that I'd ever be into, but my friend and I have been watching them together and they are so well written. The whole thing is really kind of it's own art piece in a way.

I even told by best friend about it and she was like, "Really, you? Wouldn't have thought it.".

"Me too." was my reply.

I really enjoyed the earlier movies the best and of course the first along with the 3rd "Tokyo Drift" are 2 of my favorites so far.

So, you know I had to share some of the soundtrack because it's really something...

The song "Six Days" stood out to me because unlike the very fresh hip hop beats of the early 2000's that are in the movies, this is it's own thing (with a little hip-hop still mixed in), the song walks you through the days of the week in an almost mundane and eerie way ending each verse with "Tomorrow never comes until it's too late..."

It really gives the depiction of timelessness and confusion during the fleeting of time.

In this case, the song specifically refers to war and the disorientation of it.

I think it comes at an interesting time and actually has encouraged some introspection in my own life.

Honestly, I could listen to it on repeat. So, here is "Six Days" by DJ Shadow feat. Mos Def.
